Obverse: Two fans on a floral arraignment, surrounded by ornamented border; Reverse: Five lines of ornamental Japanese script within recessed tablet; Japanese hallmark on edge. Struck to commemorate the wedding of Crown prince Yoshihito and Sadako Kujo, this stunning issue offers an elegant design and very little evidence of handling on surfaces. Some light evidence of friction on both sides, but nothing too intense or distracting.
