KM-107; FC-75; El-103; Cal-950. Transitional bust type with the bust of Charles III, but in the name of Charles IV. A difficult piece to acquire in higher quality collector condition, this example displays a genteel soft gray tone and strong details unencumbered by evidence of circulation. Though designated cleaned, this example demonstrates no strong hairlines across the surfaces, though near the legends there is evidence of friction that can be seen when viewed with a strained eye. Put together, this supreme example should command much attention as an attractive specimen of a RARE type, available for a discounted price off of Mint State, despite essentially being so.
