MEXICO. 5 Pesos, 1950-Mo. Mexico City Mint. PCGS MS-66.
KM-466. Commemorating the opening of the Southeastern Railroad. Immaculate argent surfaces are endowed with a wonderful satiny texture on this artistic Mexican commemorative. Hardly a single distraction is evident, and some subtle peripheral striking weakness is all that keeps the present coin from attaining Superb Gem status. As of writing, only 5 have been certified finer by PCGS out of a total population of 396.
From the Hobart Collection.
Estimate: $100 - $200
