Obverse: Biplane and hot air balloon flying above numerous very small houses seen at a distance; Reverse: Blank for engraving; hallmarks (including that for the date) at the bottom. Edge: Plain. A very interesting award plaque, this aviation related piece presents alluring matte surfaces with a gunmetal gray tone. Quite SCARCE and enchanting. A very minor dig is noted just above the horizon, mentioned merely for completeness.
