SNG Cop-1094 (Thrace); HGC-3.2, 1799. Struck in the name and types of Lysimachos of Thrace. Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: Athena seated left on throne, with arm resting upon shield; spear diagonally in background; KΦ to inner left, BY on throne; in exergue, ornate trident left. Nicely centered and providing a handsome color, this well struck piece is exceptionally attractive with bold details impressed. Some evidence of brushing is noted on the surfaces with a few earthen deposits remaining in the recesses of the design.
