IONIA. Uncertain Mint. EL 1/48 Stater (0.29 gms), ca. 600-550 B.C. NGC EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 5/5.
Rosen-301. Obverse: Lion's paw; Reverse: Incuse punch. A very attractive fractional issue, with a strong strike and good surfaces. The NGC certification was for a photo certificate only, and this example has been housed in a Coin World holder for safe keeping. A photocopy of the certification details is included as well.
