Obverse: Laureate head of Melkart right, with drapery tied around neck; Reverse: Eagle standing left on prow; palm frond behind; to left, ΘI (date) above club; monogram to right, Phoenician letter between legs. A charming example of the popular type, this piece is sure to impress with a lightly lustrous nature. A flan flaw is seen on the head of Melkart, and some light marks are visible, but nevertheless, this stands as a lovely piece.
