Obverse: Diademed bust of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis; Reverse: Eagle, with closed wings and palm frond over shoulder, standing left on thunderbolt; to left, LI (date) over headdress of Isis; ΠA to right. Always a tough issue to encounter without issue, this interesting piece was struck just after the assassination of Kleopatra's lover, Julius Caesar, on the Ides of March in 44 B.C.
