Cr-379/1; Syd-771. Obverse: Laureate head of Jupiter right; Reverse: Juno Sospita advancing right, hurling spear and holding shield decorated with thunderbolt; to right, serpent coiled right. A very handsome Republican piece that features a likeness of Jupiter rather than the more common depiction of Roma. This example presents pleasing surfaces and a bold and strong strike. Some underlying luster is visible throughout.
