Obverse: The Virgin Mary standing facing within city walls with four towers; sigla to left and right; Reverse: Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus II and Andronicus III kneeling to left and right. A rather large flan split is noted, but there is essentially no evidence of handling on this lustrous piece.
