Republic India, 1967, Proof Set, Decimal Coins Set (Regular Series), Set of 8 Coins, this original set includes 1 Rupee of 1962  (as it always comes in a set of 1967) and other denominations of Paisa 50, 25, 10, 5, 3, 2&1 dated 1967, Bombay Mint, (RB # 14), intact in original red cardboard, cardboard is in excellent quality with flawless white borders, no signs of handling marks, coins are with original luster and highly glazed finish, overall superb immaculate quality, proof, Exceedingly Rare.

Note: In 1964, the word "Naya Paisa/Naye Paise", which was introduced in the year 1957 to distinguish from the old non-decimal (Pice&Anna) series, was dropped from the coins. Coins from 1967 had values in Devanagari on each coin replacing the Devanagari word "Naye Paise". 3 Paise were introduced in the Proof&UNC set for the first time in 1967.

This proof set is in the most outstanding quality that has maintained its original charm from the time of its issue. It has rarely appeared in this quality in any auction sales.
