Kushan Dynasty, Huvishka (160-190 CE), Gold Dinar, "NANA"(Nature Goddess) type, Subsidiary Mint in Gandhara (Peshawar?), Early phase-crude type, Obv: a diademed and half-length crowned bust facing the left, holding a mace-scepter in one hand and an elephant-goad (ankush) in the other hand, the Bactrian legend "þAONANOþAO OOηþKI KOþANO" (King of Kings Huvishka Kushan) around the field, Rev: goddess Nana standing, nimbate, facing the left, wearing a fillet and crescent, left hand resting on a podium-like stand, holding a scepter in the right hand and a bowl/box in the left hand, a tamgha on the left field, the Bactrian legend "NANO" on the left field, a dotted border around the field, 7.23g, 21.0mm, (Gobl # 328), choice very fine, Very Rare.
