Punch Marked Coin, Shakya Janapada (600-500 BC), Narhan Hoard type, Silver 5 Shana, Scyphate, Obv: a single bold punched floral symbol with a central dot and seven petal-like pellets, banker's marks (bull and other ancillary symbols) around the field, Rev: uniface, 6.38g, 28x24.4mm, (Unlisted in Rajgors/Hardekar 2019 # NH 35), choice extremely fine, Extremely Rare.

Note: Coins of this series are generally found with a main punch-marked symbol at the center but this is a new type which bears a prominent bull symbol along with a few ancillary symbols. It is an unusual type for this series which has not been offered in past auctions.
