Note: The king is shown on the obverse wearing a royal suit with a coronet on his head in his imperial appearance. His coat's minute details are visible showcasing buttons, a jeweled armlet and precise details of his ear-rings. His hand is shown as if he is offering a ring or a flower to the queen, (few collectors also consider this depiction as a ritual where king is seen applying a tilak to the queen's forehead), the moon-like crescent is also visible between the heads of both king and queen. The obverse legend on this specimen reads Kumaradevi Shri instead of usual Shri Kumaradevi. A rare combination for the type that is in admirable condition.
