PHOENICIA, Ake-Ptolemais. 1st century BC. Æ (15mm, 3.63 g, 12h). Dated year 9 of the Caesarean Era (41/0 BC). Jugate laureate and draped busts of the Dioskouroi right, each surmounted by a star / Tyche standing left on rudder, holding aphlaston, cornucopia, and palm branch; L Θ (date) across upper field, monogram to outer left. Kadman, Ake 47; HGC 10, 27; DCA 746. Dark green patina, cleaning marks. Fine.
