SAMARIA, "Middle Levantine" Series. Circa 375-333 BC. AR Obol (7mm, 0.57 g, 11h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing; olive spray to left, O (' in Phoenician) to right; all within incuse square. Meshorer & Qedar 213 (same dies as illustration); Sofaer 130 (same dies); CS 94 (this coin referenced); Samaria Hoard 167 (this coin). Struck with worn obverse die. VF. Excellent metal for issue.
