KINGS of PARTHIA. Orodes II. Circa 57-38 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 15.35 g, 12h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Dated Holöos (July). Diademed and draped bust left / Orodes seated left on throne, Tyche standing left before him, presenting palm and holding scepter; OΛ (month) and monogram in exergue. Sellwood 46.5-6 var. (different month); Sunrise 367 (same); Shore 210 var. (same); PDC 23354 (this coin). Cleaning marks and graffiti, slight double strike on reverse. VF. Overstruck on uncertain undertype. Unusually full flan with clear month and monogram in exergue.
