DECAPOLIS, Gadara. Marcus Aurelius. AD 161-180. Æ (24mm, 10.62 g, 11h). Dated CY 225 (161/2 CE). Laureate bust right; slight drapery on both shoulders / Statue of Tyche holding scepter and cornucopia, standing right on river-god swimming right and being crowned by Nike standing left on column; to left, small figure (Eros?) standing left on small column; all within distyle temple with arched façade; ЄKC (date) in left field. Spijkerman 45; RPC IV.3 Online 6672; Rosenberger 45; SNG ANS –; Sofaer 42. Dark green-brown patina with earthen highlights. VF. Struck on a large flan.
