MACEDON, Skione. Circa 480-470 BC. AR Obol (7mm, 0.40 g, 2h). Head of male right / Grape bunch, with leaves flanking, diagonally oriented in incuse square. H. Bloesch, "Nach einmal Skione" in SM 51/54 (May 1964), 3 = Winterthur 1416; AMNG III/2, –; cf. HGC 3, 676 (head left, no leaves, with ethnic); CNG 106, lot 143. Rough find patina. Near VF. Extremely rare.
