JUDAEA, Anthedon. Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. Æ (26mm, 11.97 g, 12h). Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Turreted Tyche seated left, holding short scepter and resting hand on shield between her feet. Cf. Meshorer City-Coins 68; Rosenberger 8-9; Sofaer 4-5. Brown and green patina, some roughness, date off flan. Fine. Rare.

The date on the reverse inscription is off flan. Known specimens of this coin type are dated to ΕΤΟΥC Z or Θ (= year 7 or 8).
