"Görtz" refers to Georg Heinrich von Görtz (1668-1719), head of the Procurement Deputation (Upphandlingsdeputationen). This government agency was tasked with strenghtening the economy of Sweden, which was in arrears as a consequence of lengthy and wars of King Karl XII. 1/1+
