Sweden, Karl, regent SM 8 1 daler 1600 27.83 g. Stockholm. One year type. Has probably been mounted, scratches and a small hole on the rim, somewhat corroded. RRRR. Ex Sven Svensson (SS 1643), SNF auction 150, lot 29, November 2005. SMB 8. Of this extremely rare one year type we know of only two examples in private hands. The presently offered example, and the example of Julius Hagander sold at Künker auction 185, lot 6014. One further example is at the privately owned Avesta Coin Museum. The currently offered example has previously been exhibited at the Royal Coin Cabinet of Sweden. 1/1+
