THRACE. Alopekonnesos. Circa 300 BC. (Bronze, 12 mm, 2.53 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. ΑΛΩ-ΠΕΚΟΝ Fox (Aλώπηξ) standing to right; to right, grain ear. HGC 3.2, 1307. Yarkin 59. Very rare. Well centered, and with an attractive green patina. Very fine.
