THRACE. Sestos. Circa 300 BC. (Bronze, 22.5 mm, 8.89 g, 6 h). Female head to left, hair bound with a sphendone. Rev. ΣA Demeter seated left, holding grain ear in right hand and resting left on seat; to left, herm. HGC 3.2, 1640. Von Fritze 1. Green patina with attractive sandy highlights. Good very fine.
