THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 400-380 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19.5 mm, 5.89 g, 10 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing, turned slightly to the right, wearing ampyx and a V-shaped double band necklace with a central medallion. Rev. ΛAΡIΣAI Horse with straight legs grazing to right. BCD Thessaly II 379.3 (same dies). Cf. Lorber 24.1 (same reverse die; obverse die not recorded by Lorber, but see die 25). Minor porosity, otherwise, very fine.
