EPEIROS. Ambrakia. Circa 480-458 BC. Stater (Silver, 21.00 mm, 8.45 g, 6 h), c. 480s. A Pegasos flying to right with curved wings. Rev. Head of Athena (or, perhaps, Aphrodite) to right, wearing Corinthian helmet. HGC 3.1, 197. Calciati 7-8. Well centered and with pleasing eye-appeal. Very fine.
