ISLANDS OFF MYSIA, Prokonnesos. Circa 450-425 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.55 g, 1 h). Head of female to left, hair bound in sakkos. Rev. Π Oinochoe left within wreath. Thompson, Coinage -. SNG BN -. CNG 105, 215. Unpublished in the standard references. Lightly toned. Light surface porosity, otherwise, about very fine.
From the Vineyard Collection, privately bought from H. Kreindler on November 2002.

This coin was sold to the Vineyard collector as an unicum "Potidaia" in Macedon. In the meantime two more coins appeared in the market and the Proconnesos attribution was adopted.
