KINGS OF PARTHIA. Mithradates IV, circa 58-53 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.58 g, 12 h), Rhagae mint. Diademed bust of Mithradates to left; to right, star. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ ΑΡΣΑΚΟΥ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ ΘΕΟΥ ΕΥΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ ΦΙΛΕΛΛΗΝΟΣ Elephant advancing to right. Sellwood 41.20 (as Mithradates III). Shore 208 (as Mithradates III). Relatively scarce type. Reverse with some uncleaned deposits and struck slightly off-centre, otherwise, good fine.
