THRACE. Anchialus. Maximinus I, 235-238. (Bronze, 25.10 mm, 7.63 g, 12 h). AYT MAΞI(ME)INOC EYCEBHC A(YΓ) Laureate head of Maximinus to right. Rev. ΑΓΧΙΑΛΕΩΝ Dionysos standing left, holding kantharos in right hand and thyrsos in left; at his feet, panther crouching left, head turned back to catch drops of wine from the kantharos; in the background, nude dancing satyr left, his right arm extended and looking right.
