MYSIA. Parium. Pseudo-autonomous issue, Time of Valerian I and Gallienus, ca. 253-268. (Bronze, 22 mm, 6.03 g, 9 h). IO-OCCH (sic) Head of the eponymous hero Parius to right. Rev. C C H I P Capricorn to right, cornucopiae on back; between legs, globe overlaid with a star. Cf. BMC 83 (obverse legend). SNG BN 1427-30 (different reverse types, but al with similar obverses). SNG Copenhagen -. SNG von Aulock -. An unusual and interesting coin. Light green patina. Very fine.
