BYZANTINE SEALS, Cleric. Petros, circa 7th century. Seal or Bulla (Lead, 25 mm, 9.56 g, 12 h). Nimbate and facing bust of St. Peter, presenting cross; cross on the left and right field. Rev. Cruciform monogram formed by the letters of "ΠΕΤΡΟΥ". Zacos - (but monogram 388). Very fine.
