O A/ΓI/OS - NI/KO/ΛA/OS Nimbate figure of Saint Nikolaos of Myra standing facing, wearing ecclesiastical robes, raising his right hand in benediction and holding Book of Gospels with his left. Rev. A very interesting and extremely rare seal of the paraitor of Macedon and Thrace . Very fine.
The surname "Serblias" gives us a hint of the origin of the family which was probably the fortress town of Servia in Macedon, close to the modern city of Kozani in Greece.
