ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Mahdi, AH 158-169 / AD 775-785. Dinar (Gold, 19 mm, 4.24 g, 7 h), unamed mint but probably Madinat al-Salam mint (Bagdad), AH 166 = AD 782/3. Album 214. Some marks and with a couple of (byzantine) graffiti on reverse, otherwise, very fine.
