Edward the Elder (899-924), Penny, Two Line type [HT 1], Pitit, eadvveard rex, small cross, rev. pitit mone in two lines divided by three crosses, trefoil of pellets above and below, 1.51g/12h (CTCE 246; N 649; S 1087). Edge slightly chipped, otherwise very fine and toned £300-£400
