1876 Shield Nickel. In PCGS encapsulation 37036264 Cleaned-AU Detail. This is FS-401 also commonly known as "The Bleeder". This is the variety where the vertical shield lines extend up into the horizontal shield lines. An interesting and easily recognized type.
