Maximianus. First reign, AD 286-305. Antoninianus (23mm, 3.93 g, 1h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint, 2nd officina. 7th emission, AD 290-291. Radiate and mantled bust left, holding eagle-tipped scepter / Pax standing left, holding Victory on globe and scepter; B in exergue. RIC V 399; Lyon 387. EF, brown patina with some light silvering, a few scratches on reverse. Exceptional portrait.
