STRAITS SETTLEMENTS: Victoria, 1837-1867, AR ½ cent, 1845, KM-2, East India Company issue, an attractive nearly mint state example! PCGS graded AU58, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. In 1830, the Straits Settlements became a residency, or subdivision, of the Presidency of Bengal, in British India. This status continued until 1867.
