His collections of curious and primitive currencies were sold in the USA (1970-71) and in London (1979).The Shunzhi Emperor ordered military garrisons to start minting their own coinage modeled after Tang dynasty Kai Yuan Tong Bao coins, as well as early Ming dynasty coins, and have a Chinese mint mark on their reverses.
