Larissa. Circa 440-400 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19mm, 6.12 g 12). Thessalos, with cloak over his shoulders, striding left, holding a rushing bull with a band around its horns. Rev. ΛΑΡΙ / Σ / ΑΙ (partially retrograde) Bridled horse with trailing reins galloping to right. BCD II 352.6 var. Herrmann Pl. III, 21. SNG Copenhagen 112. Bright and well centered, but with some die rust on the reverse. Nearly extremely fine.
