Larissa. Circa 420-400 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19mm, 5.84 g 4). Head of the nymph Larissa to left, wearing pendant earring and with her hair bound with a taenia. Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣΑΙ Bridled horse prancing to right, with loose rein. BCD II 376.6 (this coin). BMC 48 and pl. V, 10 (same dies). With a severely classical and beautiful head of the young nymph. Some flatness on the reverse. Very fine.
