Mytilene. Circa 377-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 10mm, 2.55 g 12), c. 340 BC. Youthful head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. Bearded head of Silenos facing, bald and with two animal ears; all within linear square. BMFA 1723. Bodenstedt 90 (p/ω?). Attractive and well centered. Minor faults on the reverse, otherwise, Nearly extremely fine.
