Alyattes II. Circa 610-560 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 9mm, 2.35 g), Sardes. Valvel Heads of two lions, with open jaws and staring eye, facing each other with an inscription between them; the head facing right is clear but there are only traces of the head facing to left. Rev. Double incuse square. Weidauer 101. Rare. Clear and with a legible inscription. Unusually well-preserved. Good very fine.
