Hadrian. 117-138. Alexandria. Tetradrachm (Billon, 23mm, 13.44 g 12), year 16 = 131/2. AΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑ CΕΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. L ΙC Draped figure of Serapis, seated on high backed throne to left, holding long scepter in his left hand and extending his right to touch Kerberos seated facing at left; atop the throne to left, Nike standing right, crowning Serapis. Dattari 1477. Geissen 1044. Milne 1324. Toned and with a good portrait. Slightly rough surfaces, otherwise, good very fine.
