Northeast Gaul. Ambiani. Circa 60-50 BC. Stater (Gold, 17mm, 6.24 g), issued during the Gallic Wars. Blank convex surface, with traces of design around the edges. Rev. Disjointed horse to right, with crescent below and pellets around. ABC 16. DT 239. SCBC 32. Clear and well struck. About extremely fine.
