Syracuse. Circa 500-485 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25mm, 16.85 g 4). SRΑ Quadriga moving slowly to right with a beardless charioteer holding the reins in both hands. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with, at the center, a circular incuse containing a diademed head of Arethusa to left. Boehringer - but V20/R13. SNG ANS. Rare. Toned. Some porosity, otherwise, very fine.
