Central Gaul. Pictones or Santones. Circa 40 BC. Unit (Bronze, 12mm, 1.61 g 11). ATECTORI Bare-headed and slightly draped male bust to right. Rev. Bull butting to right; above, pellet within annulet of pearls; below, floral ornament. D&T 3722. An attractive piece with a clearly Roman style portrait on the obverse. About extremely fine.
