Charles I (1625-49), Halfcrown, Worcester mint (1643-1644), mm. leopard's head /-, crowned figure of king on horseback, brandishing sword, reverse crowned oval, garnished shield, large stars in legend (S.3106; Brooker 1156A). King and horse magnificently well struck for this usually very crude issue. Extremely fine, 'As Struck' and most certainly one of the finest examples available to commerce.
