George I (1714-1727), Gold Two-Guineas, 1717, laureate head right, legend and toothed border surrounding, reverse crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, edge obliquely grained, (MCE 242; S 3627). Choice practically mint state, with much underlying brilliance. Encapsulated by NGC as MS 63.
