cusps, saltire on neck, saltire stops, legend surrounding +HENRIC DI GRΛ REX ΛNGLI Z FRΛNC,
mullet after Henric. Rev, long cross fourchée, trefoil of pellets in angles, extra pellet in two angles,
reads +POSVI DEVM Λ DIVTOR E MEVM, mullet after Posvi, inner script CIVITΛS LONDON, 2.77g
(S.1935; N.1517). Light cabinet tone, clear legends and portrait, mullets clear in legends as is the saltire on neck.
Minute striking perforation when held to good light at 7 o’clock, porous and with some pitting on reverse. Very
fine.
