Anne (1702-14), Shilling, 1709, third draped bust facing left, plain angles, toothed border both sides,
legend surrounds ANNA DEI GRATIA. Rev, post union crowned cruciform shields, garter star at
centre, six strings to Irish harp, date either side of top crown, roses and plumes in alternate angles,
legend reads MAG BRI FR ET HIB REG. (S.3610; Bull.1402; ESC.1154). Pleasing grey-blue toning with
mirrored fields, some flecking both sides. Portrait excellent with few surface markings, legends legible. Rev, coat
of arms well defined, few carbon smudges. Good extremely fine for issue.
